Frequently Asked Questions

What bedding does Fairway supply?
Our 6 berth (2 bedroom) caravans are supplied with 2no double & 2no single duvets plus 6 pillows and a bedding pack containing 2no double and 2no single duvet covers plus 4 pillow cases.

Our 8 berth (3 bedroom) caravans are supplied with 2no double and 4no single duvets plus 8 pillows and a bedding pack containing 2no double and 4no single duvet covers plus 6 pillow cases.

If you require extra bedding, please bring this with you from home.

Sheets are NOT provided but must be used. Please bring sheets with you from home.

What time can we enter our caravan on arrival day?
As per our conditions of booking, our caravans are hired from 3.00pm on the day of arrival for Yarmouth caravans and from 4.00pm for all other caravans.

Our reception closes at 8pm.

What time do we have to vacate our caravan on departure day?
As per our conditions of booking, our caravans are hired until 11.00am on the day of departure for Yarmouth caravans and until 10.00am for all other caravans.

The caravan must be vacated, locked and the keys handed into reception.

Is the caravan park close to the beach?
The caravan park is approximately 25 minutes walk from Sandown beach. Please ask in reception for a map showing the quickest route to the beach.

Does the clubhouse entertainment continue throughout the season?
Please note there will be no entertainment during off peak times. Peak times are usually considered to be school holiday periods.

Is the swimming pool open all season?
Our outdoor heated swimming pool is open between May and September, weather dependent.

Does Fairway supply all kitchen equipment?
Our kitchens are supplied with a full size fridge with icebox and a gas cooker with grill for toast. There is an electric kettle in Yarmouth caravans and a gas kettle for all other caravans. Microwaves are supplied in all vans except the old style Haseley/budget caravans.

All pots, pans, cutlery and crockery are supplied to the BH&HP 3* standard.

Does Fairway supply travel cots?
Travel cots for caravans are available for hire at a charge of £10 per break, plus a £10 refundable deposit. Your travel cot must be collected from reception, where the £10 refundable deposit is also payable. This deposit will be returned to you once the travel cot is taken back to reception in the condition it was hired, at the end of your holiday.

Please remember to bring your own cot linen. In most accommodation the travel cot will fit in the lounge only. Travel cots need to be reserved in advance by phoning the office.

Does Fairway supply high chairs or other baby equipment?
No we don’t, but we do have a telephone number of a local hire shop, please contact our friendly reception staff for details.

Does Fairway supply a Television?
Yes we do. Yarmouth caravans are supplied with a digital FreeView television. All other caravans are supplied with an analogue terrestrial television.

Does Fairway accept pets in the caravans?
No we don't allow any pets in our fleet vans, but please be aware that a small number of holiday homes are privately owned which therefore may contain pets. Please read our conditions of booking located on the back of the booking form for further information.

Can I park my car next to my caravan?
There is no guaranteed parking next to any of our caravans although you can request parking at the time of booking.
